Lingyin Temple wheelchair accessibility
Very challenging
An ancient Chinese Buddhist Zen temple, founded in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, famous for its Feilai Peak grotto sculptures.
Known facilities: Accessible restroom, Wheelchair rental, Shuttle car.
- Bottom line: Many steps and high thresholds. Ramps are available around the main hall, but the entrance is difficult to access. The Arhat Hall is flat inside, but the entrance requires lifting. Recommended to visit with a companion and bring a lightweight wheelchair.
- Core wheelchair experience: Praying at the Incense Burner Plaza and admiring from outside the Grand Hall.
