Kuanzhai Alley wheelchair accessibility
Very challenging
The ruins of the Shaocheng district of Chengdu from the Qing Dynasty, consisting of three old streets (Kuan, Zhai, and Jing Alleys), representing a microcosm of old Chengdu life.
- Bottom line: Generally rollable, but the slopes in Kuanzhai Alley are too steep, and there are thresholds and steps, making some shops inaccessible directly by wheelchair. Traveling with a companion is recommended.
- Core wheelchair experience: Drinking tea and watching face-changing performances in Kuanzhai Alley
